Don Roper of Coventry bank fished at the Top Car Park and took three fine fish on Black buzzers including a superb over wintered rainbow that tipped the scales to 9lb 13oz.

Season ticket holder Dave Adkins of Newtown, Rugby opted to bank fish the Dam wall and took a super 6lb 6oz rainbow on a Black tailed green Fritz lure.

Mr Gilbert of Sileby took four rainbows for 11lb 13oz from the Dam wall on Crunchers fished on a floating line.

The more recent warmer weather seems to have sent the fish to the cooler climes of the Main basin.

Carl Bozicek of Broughton boat fished the Main basin and took six nice fish for 16lb 10oz on Pheasant tail nymphs.

Mark Hunt of Market Harborough took a super 7lb 12oz rainbow on a Black buzzer while boat fishing off The Hawthorns.

The Lexus European Fly Fishing Championships ‘ Eyebrook Heats’ will be held on Thursday 1st and Friday 2nd July 2010. Entry forms are available at the Eyebrook Fishing Lodge.

The CLa Gamefair at Ragley Hall Alcester, Warwickshire will be held on Friday 23rd- Sunday25th July 2010.
